Spring 2019 Wrap Up

Back in March, I posted my Spring 2019 TBR here . So much has managed to occur in such a short amount of time. I did not read all the books that I said I was going to read, at all. In fact, of the ten books on that list, I only read one: A Study in Charlotte . To make things even odder, I read that book the day after I wrote the tbr post and then again in May because I forgot important details when trying to read The Last of August . It's a little disappointing though because I was really excited about reading some of those books and just was unable to finally be able to get to any of them. Still, at some point I'll read them. I just have so many books that I want to read and there just is not enough time for me to actually get this all read. I'm out of school now, which should make finding time to post on this blog easier. However, it has proved more difficult than I had initially hoped. Sure, I managed to read through finals, but back home proves to be harder than I...

Unpopular Bookish Opinions

And I'm back for another week of Top Ten Tuesday! This prompt was really interesting for me, and I'm sure that there were be a lot of really interesting responses, since none of us have the same opinions. I chose four really specific things I want to argue and six that are just facts. So let's get started! Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog meme hosted by That Artsy Reader Girl Book quotes in book reviews. I seriously don't understand this because yeah, I might laugh at a certain quote or something, but I never get this involved into recording it and keeping it. I never get this involved into this idea ever. Owning so many copies of the same book. I mean, do what you what and I understand that there are a bunch of different covers that are beautiful, but I don't understand dropping that much money on a book when you could buy another book that you haven't read yet or don't own. It might be cool to have all these pretty covers, but that's a lot of...

2019 Goals

Happy New Year!🎈Welcome to 2019!🎈 Last year I started this blog and as I'm sure you could tell if you started reading then, I had absolutely no idea what I was doing. Then I went off to college and had no idea how to adapt from high school life, which definitely did not help things. But hopefully this year, I am ready to go and I will be way more consistent than last year. This leads me to my New Years resolutions and goals. Some of them are for this blog, some for writing, and some are closer to my personal life. However, I thought that I'd share them anyway, in hopes that this will help in my motivation to actually get them done. I don't know if it was just my school, but I had to learn how to make SMART goals too many times to count. In case you have never heard of SMART goals before, this stands for goals that are specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and time bound. However, I am awful at following instructions, so while I used some of these ideas whi...
