OWLs Readathon Wrap Up

This month has been absolutely crazy for me. I wanted to read a lot more than this, but I have to be proud with what I did manage to get done because there has just been so much stuff going on. I even went on hiatus from blogging for the majority of April. But the semester is finally over and I'm ready for the summer and everything else that hopefully lies ahead. The first book I finished this month was Staying Fat for Sarah Byrnes, which I used for the History of Magic challenge. The prompt for this was a book published at least ten years ago. This was a reread for me, but I still enjoyed reading it and the characters within that I am attached to still. This was the only one I finished early in the month when I thought that it was a good idea to do a readathon the last month of this crazy semester I had. Next is The Distance Between Lost and Found, which I am using for the Herbology challenge, which was a plant on the cover. I read this book on spring break last year and i...

24in48 Wrap Up

Oh my gosh, 24in 48 is over and I actually won! I ended up going with the official time zone, so that means that this is going from 11 pm my time on Friday night to Sunday night at 11 pm. I managed to get about 2 hours of reading done before I fell asleep, which was unintentional. My lights were still on and everything, but I woke up at 7:30 ready to go. I read until about 3 am and woke up around 9:30 am. No one showed up to my SI session so I read the whole time. I managed to win this challenge at an Ultimate Smash Tournament. I also won my first match ever at the tournament. I would have tried to finish this afterwards but I hung out with my friends there until way too late. The 24 hours of reading was just absolutely insane. Last time I only hit 9 hours, but the 24 was both so extreme and so awesome at the same time. I absolutely adored it. It was exhausting and wonderful at the same time. Next time, I really need to work on staying organized because as I am writing this, I...

Bout of Books Wrap Up

The Readathon: Bout of Books Books Read: 4 Pages Read: 1370 Challenges Done: 3 Success?: Definitely Yes Hey everyone! Bout of Books 24 was an absolutely crazy one for me. I am a little disappointed that I did not manage to post a daily post, but I kept up with it for longer than I even managed to post these challenges on twitter. Next time, hopefully I will do better but I am definitely happy enough with how I did concerning challenges, and reading as well even though it was not exactly what I expected. Part of the reason this post is going up so late is because I moved back to school and started classes. Really, the main reason is that I haven't felt much like writing this. I have been procrastinating like crazy on most things. For example, I was going to write this when I was working the desk at my job but I read an entire book instead. Good, but maybe not exactly what it was that I should have been doing. Anyway, I'm writing this now. Here's my tbr fo...

Grinchathon Wrap Up

The Readathon: Grinchathon Books Read: 4 books read Pages Read: 1144 pages Success?: Yes! So this wrap up is a few days late, but oh well. This readathon was interesting in that I did not do a whole lot of reading what it was that I had actually put on my tbr. I read some awesome books this round and really loved all of it. I ended up reading four books in total, and while I would have loved to read more, I still had some things in my life that were going on and way too much procrastination, so I will definitely still take this all as a win. The first book I read was Ex-Mas by Kate Brian, to fulfill the "black and green challenge". This book was really cute with a road trip, and you can check out my review of it here. It was an awesome read and I really enjoyed it, and also one of the few actually Christmas things I did this year, what with being away at college. The second book I read was an ebook- United We Stand by Ally Carter. I have been reading the Ga...
