I took last week of Top Ten Tuesday off because I honestly didn't know what to write, but now I'm back for another week!
This week's prompt is Auto Buy Authors. At first, I thought I didn't have any but once I consider the spirit of what "auto buy" is, making a list ended up being a lot easier than I had initially expected. For me, this is a list of authors that I will read any book of theirs that I find, even if I just request it from the library, or only buy if I find it at a used bookstore. All of these authors I love and will read just about anything I put out there. So let's get started!
I can't really think of anyone else that I will automatically pick up any book of, but I would definitely recommend reading any book by any one of these authors. There's a lot of things going right in these books and for many of them, I have been reading these authors for years.
Thanks for reading!

Top Ten Tuesday was created by The Broke and the Bookish in June of 2010 and was moved to That Artsy Reader Girl in January of 2018. It was born of a love of lists, a love of books, and a desire to bring bookish friends together. |

- Rick Riordan- The jokes about signing a blood contract for his books? This is me. Heck, I haven't read Magnus Chase yet and own all three books that are out so far despite still not picking it up. I'm currently rereading The Red Pyramid, and the mythology is so much fun.
- Margaret Peterson Haddix- The Missing is an amazing series, and I read all of the sequels to Among the Hidden after we read it at school. While I no longer actively seek out her books, if I encounter one, then I'll take it to read with no hesitation.
- Audrey Coulthurst- Of Fire and Stars was the first sapphic book I read after I figured out I was bisexual. Not only does it hold a special place in my heart, but it was amazing with great rep. All books with her as an author automatically go on my tbr, especially the sequel which is so close to release!
- James Patterson- Slight correction to "all books"- I'll only read his YA but I've read all that I know of. My sister and I were really into the Maximum Ride series, which was the only reason I picked up Witch & Wizard in the first place, which I also love. I won't read his adult stuff, but anything in the teen section I am all over.
- Adam Silvera- They Both Die at the End absolutely destroyed me, which is why I picked up History Is All You Left Me which was able to do the exact same thing in a brand new way. I definitely can't wait to read more, because it was definitely worth it.

Ooh, Margaret Peterson Haddix! I've enjoyed a few of hers in my time. My favorites are Don't You Dare Read This, Mrs. Dunphrey (which I did not realize until this second was by her, actually), Leaving Fishers and Turnabout.

She's written so many books and while I don't love all of them, I still try them

Oooh, I'm excited to see Adam Silvera on your list! I've heard great things about him, and I'll be reading They Both Die at the End next week. :3 I will appropriately reinforce my feels ahead of time.
ReplyDeleteHere’s my TTT post.
They Both Die at the End was the first one I read and was definitely amazing.
